about us

Christ’s Kitchen of St. Albans

Christ's Kitchen provides a light breakfast and a hot lunch, 5 days a week, to anyone who enters the door. Currently, we are serving as many as 80-100 plates each day.  The people who eat here include elderly, low-income, the working poor, unemployed, homeless, and/ or mentally challenged.  We welcome all who need a meal!

In addition to feeding the hungry, Christ’s Kitchen provides a safe place for people to have social interaction and to be called by their name. Director Mary McCoy works with community agencies to coordinate services such as providing flu shots, COVID vaccines, HIV testing and others.

St. Albans Food Pantry

The St. Albans Food Pantry is a community based program that collects and safely stores food, personal care items and household products for free distribution to those who suffer from hunger and food insecurity.  The Pantry also partners with sources of free services for those in need of other assistance such as vision care and baby supplies.
